Home automation is a system that can be added to
your existing home wiring that allows you to control
all of the electrical devices in your home
automatically or by remote control.
You can allow your computer to take charge for you,
control things over the phone, or from a hand held
remote.

Safety
Turn your house lights on from a key chain remote
from the comfort and safety of your car. Have a
preprogrammed timer turn on and off lights and
television at specific times to simulate someone
being at home while you are on vacation.
Have a motion sensor mounted outside turn on any
combination of lights throughout your home,
including a lamp in your bedroom to alert you
someone is outside.

Convenience
You can turn all of the lights in your home on or off
from a single location or hand held remote. No more
having to get out of bed to make sure you shut the
garage lights out. Leaving the house, just press all
off on your controller.

Energy savings
The system can be setup to turn lights on only if you
are in the room, and automatically shut them off
when you leave. It can control your thermostat to
set back the temperature when you are not home
and at night while you are sleeping, then raise it
just before you awaken or return home.

Entertainment
The system can be tied together with your home
entertainment system. This can allow you to close
the drapes, dim the lites, lower your projection
screen and start your movie all from the same
remote.
